This puppy is being purchased as family pet. Although there may be some champions in the puppy's background, the seller assumes no responsibility as to breeding or show capabilities of the puppy. AKC and / or CKC registration application will be provided to the purchaser. Limited or Full registration will be determined at time of purchase.
This puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and was in good health and up-to-date on shots and worming at the time of the health examination, as indicated by a licensed veterinarian’s Health Certificate provided by me. Any faults found by my veterinarian; genetic, congenital or other, will be noted on the official health certificate for buyer to examine and accept. At this time, puppy will be sold "as is".
You must have a licensed veterinarian examine this puppy/dog within 72 hours of taking possession. If any life threatening defect is discovered, an official document from your veterinarian is required within five (5) days of this exam. If this puppy is not examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of your taking possession, then no guarantee is made and no other grounds for exchange will be accepted. I reserve the right to have my veterinarian re-examine the puppy. An official autopsy report is required if the puppy has died. For a replacement of live puppy, the puppy must be returned to me with all its paper work, but should you choose to keep this animal, then replacement is forfeited. No cash refunds will be made under any circumstances, nor will any of purchaser's veterinarian bills be paid by me. If any life-threatening genetic defect should be discovered during the first year of puppy's/dog's life, the purchaser will be offered a suitable replacement puppy/dog as soon as one becomes available, and this replacement would be final.
NOTE: Health guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This is a condition common in very tiny puppies. It is sometimes brought on by the small puppy having stress (being moved to new surroundings) and/or not eating properly, being handled too much, carried around too much etc. If you suspect this condition, consult your veterinarian immediately! You may want to keep Nutri-cal and/or Karo syrup handy. This problem is usually outgrown soon but may persist longer for very tiny puppies and/or fussy eaters.
***** Pomeranians (and Japanese Chins) are hardy, loving, intelligent, member-of-the-family dogs, but you should make yourself aware of possible problems before committing your life to one. Do the research! Look up health concerns related to the breed of dog. Although I strive for healthy puppies, I cannot, nor can anyone else, guarantee that your new puppy/dog will never develop any health problems. He/she will be a part of your family to care for from here on. Good luck with your new family member!
The puppy should complete all shots and worming treatments as recommended by your veterinarian. He/she is used to eating dry Purina Puppy Chow when you pick him/her up. You should follow your veterinarian’s recommendations on how to, or if to, switch to another food / brand.
